Burako is a game popular in Argentina where you play with a set of numbered tiles. It is a multiplayer game for 2 or 4 players (two pairs). The objective is to score points by placing tiles on valid combinations. You can form sequences of three or more consecutive numbers of the same color, known as "escaleras". You can also combine sets of three or more tiles of the same number, regardless of color, known as "piernas". Canastas are combinations of at least seven tiles. You can form impure canastas using wild tiles. Canastas are pure when they have no wild cards added. Whoever has the most points wins. Keep score in truco the way it has always been done: with matches or beans, bad half and good half, no paper and no pen. Open the app and the table is ready. HOW YOU SCORE • Tap the Us side or the Them side to add a point, or drag a piece from the pile: both ways always work • At 15 the table clears itself and the good half begins, just like real life • To 15 or to 30, you choose before starting • Pick what you count with: matches and beans lay down one by one and build the classic square of five • Erase the last point with the eraser if you added one by mistake BUILT FOR THE TABLE • The screen stays awake while you play • Night mode and day mode, because a barbecue at night and a sunny sidewalk are not the same • It warns you with five or fewer to go: the pieces glow and it shows "3 to win" • It keeps tonight's series: how many each side has taken • The game is saved, so answering the phone will not lose your count • No account and no internet needed to keep score YOUR TABLE, YOUR NAMES • Name each team: tap "Us" or "Them" and type whatever you like • When the game ends, share the result with your group: an image with the score and the series, ready to send • Tap the mate to hear lines straight from a truco table A REAL TRUCO SCOREKEEPER It is the scorekeeper, the scoreboard and the point counter for Argentine truco, with the rules as they are played there: fifteen bad and fifteen good, the square of five, the rematch and the series. No spreadsheets, no tally sheets. NOT A GAMBLING APP This is only a scorekeeper: no real money, no prizes, no chips, no virtual currency and no purchases. No cards are played in the app either: truco is played at the table with a real deck, and the app just keeps the points. "Truco", "envido" and "falta envido" are calls in the card game, not bets. Free, with ads.
