Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SSA Studio at none against Ultimate Car Audio App's 6. SSA Studio also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). Ultimate Car Audio App's advantage is review sentiment (82% vs 50%) and update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ultimate Car Audio App sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. SSA Studio asks for nothing beyond the download.
SSA Studio holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ultimate Car Audio App has 87 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of Ultimate Car Audio App's written reviews are positive against 50% of SSA Studio's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Ultimate Car Audio App ships an update every 3 days, SSA Studio fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
