KMC Connect Lite vs Equipment Touch

KMC Connect Lite saves time and money by providing fast in the office or in the field configuration of unopened and un-powered KMC Conquest controllers using NFC (Near Field Communication) technology. Currently, Apple’s NFC is not supported by KMC Connect Lite. Although NFC device communication capability is required for programming devices, a BLE to NFC fob from KMC Controls can be used with supported Apple devices. With KMC Connect Lite, you can: • Read, modify, and write data directly from and to an un-powered KMC Conquest controller still in the box it was shipped in. • View previously read device information/history. • Read/write history stored on the mobile device. • Store critical application data on a mobile device for offline retrieval at a project site. • Create templates for specific application deployment. The Equipment Touch App allows you to connect your iPhone or iPad to a BAS controller via Wi-Fi or Ethernet. These connection(s) allows you to effortlessly access and control property settings, schedule equipment operations, monitor trends, and respond to alarms. When you connect to the controller, the Equipment Touch App automatically uploads a custom Equipment Touch view file that resides within the controller. Once this file is fully loaded, the app provides real-time status updates and parameter values, allowing you to seamlessly navigate through screens designed for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. In cases where no custom Equipment Touch file is available in the controller, the Equipment Touch App grants access to pre-built system screens within the app itself. While these screens offer limited controller access, they serve as a valuable resource for basic troubleshooting.
