Groundrush is the free phone companion for the FlySight 2 GPS logger. Set up your ENGO 3 heads-up display, pull a jump off the logger over Bluetooth and look at it — standing in the packing area, between jumps. WHAT IT DOES • ENGO 3 HUD setup — choose what the glasses show and where, how often they refresh, and bind the FlySight to your own pair of glasses. The logger drives the display directly; the phone is not part of the link in flight. • Track download — pull recorded jumps off the FlySight 2 over Bluetooth. • Track library — import .csv and .gpx files, browse them by day, export and share. The library lives on your phone and works offline. • Jump analysis — exit altitude, freefall time, speeds and glide ratio, with automatic detection of the flown segment, and charts you can read at any instant of the jump. • Map View — the route drawn over a satellite or road map, coloured by speed, with exit and landing marked. • Winds aloft — wind by altitude, so the charts can also show what you flew with the wind taken out. • Firmware updates over the air for the ENGO HUD firmware. GROUNDRUSH CLOUD (OPTIONAL) • Sign in with Apple or Google. There is no Groundrush password. • Upload a track and it is kept privately in the cloud; open it in a browser at groundrush.io. • Make a jump public when you want to share it. A public page shows your username and photo, wingsuit, dropzone, the date and time, the shape of the path, the wind and the charts — never the GPS coordinates or the original file. • Auto Upload — when it is on, every detected jump goes to the cloud right after the download from the FlySight. • Wingsuit and dropzone on each track, picked from shared lists. • Delete your account from the app at any time. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO The app works fully without an account. No advertising. No analytics, and no tracking of any kind. Without an account your tracks are files on your phone and nothing is uploaded. What does leave the device: a jump's coordinates and date, sent to a public weather service to look up the wind; map imagery requested from Google when you open a map; and a firmware check with GitHub. With an account, the app also sends to Groundrush's own servers the track files you upload, the profile you enter and the photo you choose. All of it is described in full in the privacy policy. Groundrush is free. Everything listed above stays free. NOT AFFILIATED Groundrush is an independent project. It is not made by, endorsed by or affiliated with FlySight or ActiveLook.
