Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Remali DV at 2.6 against GoPlus Cam's 2.0. Remali DV also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 11.0). GoPlus Cam's advantage is update cadence (every 5 months vs every 19 months) and ratings volume (362 vs 15). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Remali DV holds the better App Store score, 2.6 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GoPlus Cam has 362 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 12% of GoPlus Cam's written reviews are positive against 0% of Remali DV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
GoPlus Cam ships an update every 5 months, Remali DV every 19 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
