Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: RC App at none against EPlay's shown. RC App also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 16.0). EPlay's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
EPlay holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 14 and 10 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of RC App's written reviews are positive against 33% of EPlay's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
RC App ships an update every 4 months, EPlay monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
