Voxium
Read full descriptionHide full description
Turn any PDF, EPUB or web page into an audiobook, free. Voxium reads your books, articles and documents aloud and remembers where you got to. Start with the on-device voice: no account needed, and it works offline. Import EPUBs, PDFs, Word documents, text files, pasted text and web pages, and build a library that's ready whenever you are. Pick a voice, set your pace and press play. Voices Choose from six voice engines. The on-device voice is free, needs no account or API key and works offline. Your text stays on your device. Or bring your own cloud voice provider: a MiniMax, ElevenLabs, Fish Audio or Soniox API key, or sign in with your xAI account for Grok voices. Cloud voices send the text being read to that provider to create the audio. Listening Set the voice and playback speed for each book. The speed range depends on the voice provider. Keep listening with the screen locked. Use the sleep timer, with a live countdown, when you listen at night. Keep the screen awake during playback, if you prefer. Export a document as an M4A audio file to play or share outside Voxium. Long exports save their progress as they go and can pick up again after an interruption. Your library on all your devices Your books and listening progress sync with iCloud. Import from Files, the share sheet, pasted text and the web. Pick up where you left off on iPhone or iPad. Voxium Pro A one-off purchase, not a subscription, unlocks: CarPlay: listen to your books in the car, with audio playback while you drive. Export presets: save named combinations of voice and settings, then export any book in one tap. Alternative app icons. Voxium is free to use, and everything not listed under Voxium Pro stays free. Optional cloud voice providers need your own account and may charge separately under their own terms.
