Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: SPED Goals at 4.8 against GoWorksheet's 4.2. SPED Goals also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 months). GoWorksheet's advantage is ratings volume (69 vs 6) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

SPED Goals holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GoWorksheet has 69 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.
GoWorksheet ships an update every 2 months, SPED Goals every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
