Masκ vs Voxt

Mask is an anonymous group messaging app where buildings and entire cities become chatrooms. In these chatrooms, users can chat with each other and eventually take their "mask" off by revealing their identity to newly-made connections. FEATURES: - Group chats and direct messages with anyone in the same building or city as you. - If place-based messaging isn't your thing, fallback to standard messaging and start conversations with people you know from anywhere in the world. - Reveal up to five aspects of your identity -- first name, last name, photo, email and/or phone number -- to specific users you meet and would like to know more about. Special thanks to icons8.com for several icons used within the app.

Voxt – Where Conversations Come Alive! Redefine your digital communication with Voxt, blending real-time audio, instant transcription, and AI assistance. Speak as naturally as in face-to-face chats, respond faster, read for immediate context, defer without dropping it, and engage without the stress of conventional calls. Ideal for daily interactions, family chats, business discussions, and beyond. Stay connected, deepen bonds, and nurture relationships like never before. Features: - Real-time Voice Messaging + Transcription We redefine the way voice messaging and texting works. You can simply talk in any of our chats. When you talk, we deliver your voice and its transcript – all in real-time. Other participants see messages from you popping up while you talk, the last one is growing word-by-word. Once they activate listening mode, they'll be able to hear you as well. - Stress-Free, Natural Communication Without Calls We build a medium that makes most of our usual calls redundant by offering a much more convenient and stressless alternative. There are no calls in Voxt. Urgency has its moments, but the majority of our daily conversations don't fall into that category. And we do everything to better accommodate such conversations. - Nearly Every Feature You Favorite Chat Has * Rich markup – with @mentions, `code` and ```code blocks```, *italic*, **bold**, etc. * Photo, video and file sharing. * Reactions. * Group and peer-to-peer chats. * Avatars you can change on a per-chat basis. Many other features, such as Places (sets of chats you can join at once), are on our near-term roadmap. - AI Feature Pack (upcoming) "We let you focus on the essence, while AI handles the form." is a key part of our original vision for the ultimate Voxt experience. Automatic conversation summaries, email digests with AI-generated daily updates, speech emotion and tone recognition, and real-time translation are just some of the features we want to deliver to implement this vision. - Strong Focus on Privacy and Security We implement all the key security practices and policies that the key players in this space use. In particular, our apps use only SSL-encrypted connections; our databases are encrypted and are accessible only to our production cluster; everything is hosted on the Google Cloud Platform, which provides a secure-by-design foundation. In the long run, we aim to offer one of the most secure mediums available and introduce features such as automatic content expiration, end-to-end encryption, and a mode that allows you to store absolutely nothing on your device. - Wholehearted Pursuit of Added Value We believe there is a huge room to improve our digital communication, and being truly obsessed with making it more efficient and convenient is a superior path to growth than anything else. And that's what we bet everything on. Our platform has no ads, no promoted content, and no addictive feeds. Any features that merely suck weeks and months of your life don't belong here. ***Dive into the new era of communication – without the pressure of calls, but with all the warmth of real conversations. Join us and transform the way you connect with those you cherish most.***
