Welcome to Don’t Get Stranded, a beautiful, free puzzle app! Marooned on an island, your monkey's only source of food is too far to reach. Build a path out of the rafts around you, but be careful: one wrong move and you’ll be stranded! Whenever you jump off of a raft, Newton's first and third laws of motion come into play. The raft is forced in the opposite direction, and continues until it hits a wall. You'll have to plan ahead to position every element where you need, to build the enigmatic path to your bananas. You’ll catch on quick, but don’t let the cute graphics fool you—this game features challenges that will test the mental limits of even the best puzzle solvers! Are you clever enough to clear every level? Dress your critters up in silly costumes and listen to the beautiful, jazzy music as you puzzle your way through each level. There are no time limits, so play at your own pace! This game features 144 free levels, from easy little baby levels to nearly impossible challenges that will be bugging your brain for hours.

Puzzle helps to learn Cartesian coordinate system (x,y) and practice to calculate sums over the line (the very first step to understanding integration). Sound: switch Ring/Silent controls speaker. After 30 seconds quick shake to restart the puzzle or reveal the answer with just a tap. In Gradients puzzle each cell has a value that contributes to the sum when calculated along a row or a column. Additionally, the value of each cell depends on the direction of the summation ("anisotropic field"). Sometimes, the clues can be satisfied by different pattern of orange cells. This means that, without additional information, solving the puzzle may involve a guessing step. An interesting phenomenon is the formation of "isomers", where an alternative solutions can be created by inverting a subset of cells. When playing for fun, any of the isomers is considered a valid solution. However in Competition mode, one more clue is added: a sum along the main diagonal. This additional clue helps distinguish between isomers.
