Bus Go Go
Read full descriptionHide full description
Bus Go Go is a driving game for very young children — the age where a truck going past the window is the best thing that has happened all day. There is no score, no timer and no way to lose. Nothing is ever refused and nothing is ever taken away. He drives with one finger. EIGHT THINGS TO DRIVE • The dump truck — load the rocks up off the ground and take them to the crusher, which eats them and rumbles. • The rubbish truck — collect the bags, boxes and bottles, tip over a wheelie bin to see what falls out, and empty the lot into the recycling works. • The school bus — pick the children up from the bus stop, sit them by a window wherever he likes, and drive them to school. • The patrol van — find the dogs that got out and take them home again. • The taxi — pick people up where they are standing and drive them into town. • The steam train — load the logs, and run them down the line to the mill. • The post bike — parcels on the back, one drop after another. • The flying saucer — it hovers instead of driving, lifts its visitors up in a beam of light, and carries them to the mother ship, over the Moon, over Mars, and further out than that. The dump truck, the rubbish truck and the school bus are free. The patrol van, the taxi, the steam train, the post bike and the flying saucer come together as one in-app purchase — bought once, yours for ever. Every one of them comes in several lengths and several colors, and a longer one carries more. ON THE ROAD The road never ends. Traffic lights go red and then green. Barriers come down at the level crossing and a train goes past. Ducks cross at the zebra crossing, and sometimes a donkey, or a horse with somebody riding it. There is somebody at the wheel, and she sounds the horn if you tap her. MADE FOR A TWO-YEAR-OLD • No adverts, ever. • One purchase, once, behind a parental gate: no subscription, no coins, no timers, and nothing a child can reach. • No accounts, no sign-in, no data collected. The game works in airplane mode; only the shop needs the internet. • No links out of the app, nothing to read, nothing to break. • Landscape, full screen, and it stays that way. The whole app is under half a megabyte.
