Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: iCity · 我的日记 at 85% against 秀颜's 10%. iCity · 我的日记 also leads on rating (4.8 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 1). 秀颜's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 6 days vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iCity · 我的日记 sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and 秀颜 sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
