Brain Code is a command-line-inspired puzzle game. Read a level, type a command, and use the response to work out what to try next. It’s a game about clues and logic, not a coding lesson. Explore 50 handcrafted levels. Some clues ask you to think beyond the obvious answer. No programming experience is needed: curiosity and careful observation are enough to begin. If you get stuck, optional in-game hints can give you a nudge. You can also leave a puzzle and return to it later. The levels can be played offline. Ready to try a different way of thinking? Start with the first level and see where your next command takes you. Questions or a bug to report? contact.kkapps@gmail.com Reading the description again? The last two lines may help. Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Tricky Towers at none against Brain Code's shown. Tricky Towers also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly) and review sentiment (87% vs 77%). Brain Code's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 29). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tricky Towers sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Brain Code sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Brain Code holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brain Code has 1.1K ratings behind it against 29, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of Tricky Towers's written reviews are positive against 77% of Brain Code's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Tricky Towers ships an update every 3 days, Brain Code monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
