The Database contains over 18,000 structural shapes and their engineering properties. The tool can perform simple beam and column stress analysis. It is ideal for use in the field. Airbend Lite is a tool that will perform calculations for bending precision sheet metal on modern press brakes. There are many apps for calculating standard sheet metal bending information, but what makes Airbend Lite unique is that it will provide bending calculations specifically for air bending. (Airbend Lite will also provide the standard bend information if the "Bend Type" is set to "Bottom Formed") Inputs: Material Type (Cold Rolled Steel only) Material Thickness Bend Type Bend Angle (90 degrees only) Inside Bend Radius V-Die Radius V-Die Width Outputs: Actual Bend Radius Bend Deduction Bend Allowance Setback Minimum Flange Output does not have units. As long as all entries are consistent (millimeters or inches) the output will match. You can mix millimeters, feet, fractions, etc. by using math formulas as long as the formulas evaluate to the same units. E.g 2.5 millimeters to decimal inches (2.5 / 25.4) 3 feet to decimal inches (3 x 12) 3/16" to decimal inches (3 / 16) .118" to millimeters (.118 * 25.4) Any feedback or requests for additional calculations or information is greatly appreciated.
