Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Athletic.APP at 3.7 against JimmieAthletics.com's 2.7. Athletic.APP also leads on ratings volume (278 vs 7) and chart position (#115 vs unranked). JimmieAthletics.com's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Athletic.APP sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. JimmieAthletics.com asks for nothing beyond the download.
Athletic.APP holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Athletic.APP has 278 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of JimmieAthletics.com's written reviews are positive against 29% of Athletic.APP's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
