Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Grades at 4.9 against Grades Tracker/Calculator's 3.4. Grades also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 23 months) and ratings volume (13K vs 9). Grades Tracker/Calculator's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Grades ships an update every 2 weeks, Grades Tracker/Calculator every 23 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
