Record your hiking distance and location waypoints while using GPS sparingly in order to conserve the battery on your device. This app was designed by an avid hiker to use on full-day and multi-day hikes. Track Your Trek uses the built-in pedometer on your iPhone to calculate distance traveled and speed. You can track your route automatically or chose to only record waypoints manually. Options for route tracking allow you specify the frequency at which your location is recorded to conserve your battery on longer hikes.
