Both are free to download. Cursive Words 2 sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Cosmic Cursive asks for nothing beyond the download.
Cursive Words 2 holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cursive Words 2 has 93 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Cursive Words 2's written reviews are positive against 100% of Cosmic Cursive's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
