Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: HR at weekly against Rx Drone's every 5 weeks. HR also leads on review sentiment (33% vs 20%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.6). Rx Drone's advantage is ratings volume (138 vs 19). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Rx Drone holds the better App Store score, 2.4 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rx Drone has 138 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Rx Drone's written reviews are positive against 33% of HR's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Rx Drone ships an update every 5 weeks, HR weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
