Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: 3D POPUP CARD at 3.0 against Comics Plus's 2.5. 3D POPUP CARD also leads on iOS requirement (6.0 vs 15.1). Comics Plus's advantage is ratings volume (103 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
3D POPUP CARD holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Comics Plus has 103 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of 3D POPUP CARD's written reviews are positive against 20% of Comics Plus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
3D POPUP CARD ships an update every 5 weeks, Comics Plus every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
