Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: CA Dashboard at 3.7 against 5's 1.8. 5's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (24 vs 3). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
CA Dashboard holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 5 has 24 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of 5's written reviews are positive against 0% of CA Dashboard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
5 ships an update every 3 weeks, CA Dashboard every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
