Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: i at 2.1 against Save2Data's 1.0. i also leads on ratings volume (80 vs 1). Save2Data's advantage is review sentiment (27% vs 12%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 11.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
i holds the better App Store score, 2.1 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: i has 80 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 12% of i's written reviews are positive against 27% of Save2Data's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
i ships an update every 3 months, Save2Data every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
