Call Break is a strategic trick-based card game similar to Spades. It's very popular in Nepal and in some places of India. It's also known as Lakdi, Lakadi or Lakadia in some places of India. The vintage game of cards features 4 players with 13 cards each to offer virtual gaming experience. There will be five deals/round in a game. Starting a game with a bid/call, a player can compete against 3 computer players with effective artificial intelligence. Initiating a game by throwing a single card of any suit (club,diamond,heart,spade), the other players also follow the same suit unless they runs out of that particular suit. Absence of identical suit allows player to throw a card of another suit and the current round is won by highest card. Spade cards can be used to conquer other cards when no more cards of the same suit are there to offer.e.g. 2 of spade can conquer any higher cards of other suits. If all the players run out of both identical led suit and Spades card then the led card wins regardless of any suit. Call Break is a popular game played widely in South Asia, mainly India and Nepal. It consists of 4 players sharing 13 cards from a randomly shuffled deck of card. One of the players shuffles and distributes cards to other 4 players. Starting from the next player, each player make a call of how many hands they might make in this round. This process is called "a call". The person who makes the first call gets to throw his/her card first. First person gets to throw any card he/she has. The next player should throw a winning card of same color if available, if wining card of same color is not available then he/she can throw any card of same color. If any card of same color is not available then a wining spade may be thrown. If both spade and any card of same color are not available then player may throw any card in his possession. A wining card is the card which is largest among other cards in the hand. Spades are always higher than other cards. The value of card by number is in ascending order: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, J, K, Q, Ace. There will be 5 rounds. After the fifth round total is calculated and winner is the one with highest number of hands. With these rules many possibilities are available which adds to the fun of the game!
