Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: GPS Data at 4.4 against GPS Coordinates's 3.5. GPS Data also leads on ratings volume (458 vs 8) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). GPS Coordinates's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GPS Data sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and GPS Coordinates sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
GPS Data holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GPS Data has 458 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.
GPS Data ships an update fortnightly, GPS Coordinates every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 18, 2026 respectively.
