About

Talk Into Notes

Features

Capture an idea on Apple Watch, iPhone or iPad, transcribe it locally, and send it to Apple Notes. Free recording, on-device transcription, editing, search, sharing and Notes export have no quota. Append to one uniquely titled Note or create a Note per transcript using the optional Shortcut. Find recordings in a focused Inbox with a persistent Record button. Choose your language, formatting and Notes destination in task-focused Settings. Optional Talk Into Notes Pro is a one-time purchase: save named recording presets for iPhone and Watch, add personal vocabulary, create structured meeting notes, action lists and journals, and tap Create Digest in Inbox to catch up on the last 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. Review and edit the result, then keep it in Inbox or send it to Apple Notes. Note processing starts on your device. You can explicitly choose Apple Private Cloud Compute for selected completed transcript text. Only that text is sent to Apple's private processing service; audio, unrelated recordings and persistent source identifiers are not sent. No cloud processing or fallback starts automatically. Review and edit each generated draft before choosing Keep in Inbox or Send to Apple Notes. Your original transcripts stay unchanged. On-device structured notes and digests require iOS 26 or later, an Apple Intelligence-capable device with Apple Intelligence enabled, a ready model and a supported language. Optional Apple Private Cloud Compute requires iOS 27 or later, eligible hardware, region and language, Apple Intelligence and iCloud readiness, internet access and available Apple usage. The app explains any requirement or usage limit that blocks your chosen action. Presets and vocabulary work without Apple Intelligence. Existing recordings keep their original destination when a preset changes. Verified Lifetime Supporter purchases include Pro; consumable tips unlock no features. Transcription runs on device. Optional feedback sends only the report you preview and choose to send.
