ZeroTier One for iOS allows you to join ZeroTier virtual networks as VPN connections on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch. ZeroTier creates secure peer-to-peer virtual Ethernet networks that work anywhere. Skip the VPN hassles. Connect hybrid clouds, remote teams, and IoT devices directly with no hardware required. ZeroTier One provides virtual network endpoint functionality for iOS devices. Getting started takes seconds: Just tap '+', enter your network ID and name, and then click ‘join network.’ (Once a network is added you can also join it via the iOS VPN control panel. It will appear there as an available VPN connection.) You can only join one ZeroTier network at once due to an iOS limitation of one VPN connection per network extension app. The app allows you to add multiple networks but if you flip one to 'on' any others currently joined will disconnect. We value your feedback! If you encounter any issues or have suggestions for future improvements, please contact our support team through our website. Thanks for using ZeroTier! RECORDIT_DAILY
Read full descriptionHide full description
"If only I had recorded that..." Never again. RECORDIT is a background recorder that captures your whole day. At work or in daily life, the moments you will want to hear again arrive without warning, and there is rarely time to press record. Start it ahead of time and it keeps recording while you use other apps or the screen is off. It wraps up automatically at midnight (23:59:59). Great for - Meetings, lectures and interviews you will want to revisit - Keeping an accurate record of instructions and commitments from a meeting - Capturing something important by voice instead of typing a note - Keeping a light voice log of your day Key features All-day recording - One tap records all day in the background - Keeps going while you use other apps or the screen is off - Stops automatically at midnight, with a reminder the next day Clips - Save an important moment as a separate clip while recording - Includes the previous interval (10 min to 1 hour) before you tapped - Save a clip straight from the notification Strong security (optional) - AES-256 file encryption (the key is held in the device Keychain) - Secure delete: overwrites file contents with zeros to prevent recovery Languages - Korean / English / Japanese, switchable in Settings Permissions - Microphone: used for voice recording. - Notifications: show recording status and the clip-save and stop controls. Optional, and the app works if you decline. Before you record - iOS shows a microphone indicator in the status bar while recording is active. - When recording a conversation with other people, get their consent and follow the laws that apply where you live. Privacy - Recordings are stored only on your device and are not sent to any external server. - Signing in is optional. Only if you create an account are your name and email stored with our authentication provider, and you can permanently delete them at any time from Settings > Delete Account. Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: ZeroTier One at none against RECORDIT_DAILY's shown. ZeroTier One also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). RECORDIT_DAILY's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
