Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Perfec! at 4.8 against Squaaare's 2.0. Perfec! also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Squaaare's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly) and review sentiment (100% vs 92%). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Perfec! holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Perfec! has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of Perfec!'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Squaaare's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Perfec! ships an update monthly, Squaaare every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
