Show me the money. Comic Coin is the stylish way to ballpark comic book values on the go. Look up titles, issues (or ranges), and grades — then get clean results you can actually read at the longboxes or in an auction paddle line. TWO WAYS TO PRICE • AI estimates — jump right in. Optional free-tier searches with a privacy-friendly anonymous backend. Great for a quick guesstimate. • PriceCharting (BYOK) — bring your own Pro API key when you want live PriceCharting market fields. Your key stays on your device and is never sent to Comic Coin servers. BUILT FOR COLLECTORS • Scan to fill — optional camera or gallery photo of a cover; on-device OCR suggests title/issue/publisher (always review before searching) • Dynamic form: single issues or ranges, grader + grade picks • Expandable results with prices, sold records, and velocity (PriceCharting path) • AI write-ups with price band, TLDR, and market summary • Local search history — retry, reload, delete • “Release the hounds…” when you want an AI take from a PriceCharting result • Public-domain Golden Age hero art, light & dark mode, gold shimmer title • Optional cash-register sound on submit (you can turn sounds off) PRIVACY FIRST • No Comic Coin account • History and BYOK key stored on device • Scan photos are processed on-device for OCR and not uploaded for recognition • AI path uses short-lived tokens and anonymous quota — see our Privacy Policy IMPORTANT AI prices are non-deterministic guesstimates, not formal appraisals. Always verify before buying or selling. Comic Coin is not affiliated with PriceCharting, CGC, or any grading company. Requires network access for price lookups. Camera and photo library access are optional (Scan to fill only).

Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Comic Coin at none against Reverse Lookup's shown. Comic Coin also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). Reverse Lookup's advantage is chart position (#102 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.5). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
