CurbPING — Commercial Vehicle Tracking for Airports CurbPING is the driver app for the CurbPING airport commercial-vehicle tracking platform. It's used by drivers of private taxi, fleet, and Transportation Network Companies (TNCs) that operate at airports. After you sign in, the app automatically logs each time your vehicle enters and exits the airport's pickup/drop-off zones — no manual reporting required. For airports, CurbPING delivers an accurate, real-time view of every commercial vehicle on the property, so trips and fees are captured automatically and policies are enforced fairly. HOW IT WORKS CurbPING uses virtual geofencing with the GPS and internet on a standard smartphone — no physical infrastructure to install. When a vehicle crosses a geofence boundary, the system records the entry, processes the pickup or drop-off based on the airport's policies, and tracks the vehicle in real time while it's on airport property. Validation algorithms confirm a vehicle is genuinely inside the geofence and not just driving past. FEATURES (including but not limited to) • Automatic trip counting • Automated commercial-vehicle trip fees and invoicing • Real-time dashboard of all vehicles on property, with drill-down details • Support for drivers who work for multiple companies • Accurate virtual geofencing — no hardware required • Customizable to each airport's agreement and policies • Customizable integration with existing accounting systems • Real-time data for curbside enforcement • Fast deployment — an airport can go live in a single day • Works at airports worldwide WHY AIRPORTS NEED CURBPING • TNCs are signing permits and agreements with airports nationwide • TNCs generate revenue from airport passengers • Self-reported TNC numbers are designed for the TNC, not the airport • Airports have a right to know every commercial vehicle on their property • Real-time information is essential to enforce regulations effectively KEY BENEFITS • Works for all commercial vehicle operators at your airport • Doesn't rely on self-reported data from the companies using your curbside • A real-time enforcement tool that keeps airports in control of curbside access LOCATION & PRIVACY CurbPING uses your location — including in the background — solely to detect when your vehicle enters and exits airport zones so trips and fees are recorded automatically. Continued use of GPS in the background can significantly reduce battery life. This app is intended only for drivers of the commercial vehicle companies that operate at airports that are enrolled with CurbPING.

Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: CurbPING at none against Coverage Map's shown. Coverage Map's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 14 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
