Point War is a real-time strategy game fought on the actual world map. Pick a nation — a superpower or a single-city state — and take it to war. Real cities produce your troops, real economies fund them, and every border on screen is the real one. There is no invented continent to learn. The map is the world you already know. HOW IT PLAYS - Cities are your production. Hold more of them and your army grows faster. - Push into your neighbours, take their cities, and knock nations out of the war one by one. - The front line is simulated, not scripted: it bends where you commit force and breaks where you do not. - Land, sea and air all matter. Coastlines, deployment zones and range decide what you can reach. - Speed controls let you slow a decisive push down or fast-forward a quiet hour.

Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: French BonBon at 5.0 against Point's 4.3. French BonBon also leads on iOS requirement (6.0 vs 15.0). Point's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly) and ratings volume (38 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. French BonBon sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Point sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
French BonBon holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Point has 38 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
French BonBon ships an update fortnightly, Point every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
