Core Tower Defense
Read full descriptionHide full description
Zombies are marching on the energy core of New Terra, and you decide the road they take. Build a maze of nodes, line it with turrets and hold the core in this 3D sci-fi tower defense strategy game you can play offline on iPhone and iPad. BUILD THE ZOMBIES' PATH The twist on classic TD: you build the path. At the start of every level, lay nodes on the grid, and every node bends the route past your guns. Make the maze as long as you like, just never seal the core off. Between waves, add, upgrade and sell turrets. 7 TURRETS, 3 LEVELS EACH Machine Gun, Laser, Quad Gun, Rocket, Light Gun, Ice and Black Hole. Upgrade them in battle and unlock their special abilities, from Chain and Quad Explosion to Teleport. ELEMENTAL COMBOS Fire, ice, lightning and blue fire. When two elements hit the same zombie, they fuse into one of six combos such as Lightning Storm, Plasma and Frost Fire. 20 LEVELS ON NEW TERRA A lab parasite has turned the colonists into zombies. Fight from Pandora Research Center and Nova Station to the Endless Labyrinth and the Dark Zone, with a story quest on every level. ENDLESS SURVIVAL Six survival maps, waves that never stop and zombies that grow stronger every five waves. How long can your core hold? ZOMBIES THAT TEST YOUR MAZE Fast runners, element-immune zombies and bosses like the Brute push your defense to the limit. GROW YOUR ARSENAL Spend Skill Points, Blueprints, Titanium and Compensators on damage, range, fire rate and abilities. Earn badges, clear challenges and daily missions, and climb to level 100. PLAY YOUR WAY โข Play offline, on iPhone and iPad โข Pinch to zoom, drag to look around, speed waves up to 2ร Just one more level? Questions or ideas? Write to contact@skylinesgames.com.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Math Challenge at none against Core Tower Defense's 10. Math Challenge also leads on ads (none vs shown). Core Tower Defense's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 58 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price and device support there is nothing between them.
