Idemitsu Smart OC is an app that allows for easy on-site diagnosis of lubricant degradation and contamination. Traditionally, in lubrication environments, evaluation could only be performed qualitatively through visual observation, and quantitative assessments required sending samples to testing facilities equipped with analytical instruments. However, with Idemitsu Smart OC, you can simply take a photo of the lubricant using a smartphone, enabling you to assess its degradation and contamination status based on numerical data. Lubricants are often referred to as the "blood" of machines, making it crucial to understand their condition in order to gauge the overall state of the machinery. By utilizing Idemitsu Smart OC, you can detect lubrication anomalies early, contributing to the stable operation of machines. What Idemitsu Smart OC can do: 1) Perform analysis based on lubricant analysis data, determining the remaining lifespan percentage from the color of the lubricant (degradation status). 2) Calculate the amount and size of contaminants (contamination status). 3) Access historical data on a connected website for further review. To use this app, you need a dedicated module to keep the shooting environment constant and an internet communication environment.
