Stream Player for iPhone vs Streaming Player

Stream Player for iPhone is the iOS version of the lightweight Mac internet stream player, featuring several smart tools to aid OneClick stream playing in a dedicated player window. Currently, there are two ways to start playing streams: 1. Use the “Add to Stream Player” or “Watch Later in Stream Player” options available in the iOS App Action and Share extensions. 2. Set up iCloud Drive to synchronize your stream lists between the Mac app and your iOS devices. You can download the Mac version at: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/stream-player/id931235000?ls=1&mt=12 Currently available features • iCloud Drive sync to share and synchronize stream lists between iOS and Mac devices. • Customizable web stream content behaviors: enable or disable navigation and editing. • Ad blocking in stream content. • Support for background stream playback — ideal for listening to, for example, podcasts on the road. NOTE: To continue playing a stream in the background, you must restart playback after Stream Player goes into the background. To do this, press the play button on your headphones or swipe up the Control Center and press the play button. • Playback of multiple streams simultaneously on iPad devices running iOS 11.0 or later. • Supported streams: ⁃ Safari-supported common streams over HTTP (HLS, WebRTC, fMP4, etc.) ⁃ RTMP ⁃ RTSP ⁃ MPEG-DASH (currently macOS only — stay tuned!) (common codecs: VP8, VP9, H.264, H.265, etc.) Any feature requests or bug reports are highly welcome!
