AR永福寺 vs Virtual Asukakyo

本アプリは、鎌倉市にある「国指定史跡永福寺跡」の庭園部分の復元事業の完成に連動して公開するアプリです。今回の鎌倉市による復元は、庭園部分と建物部分の基壇となっており、建物部分の復元は行われません。本アプリには、建物部分の復元イメージをご覧頂く為、二つの機能を搭載しました。 本アプリは、鎌倉市にある「国指定史跡永福寺跡」の庭園部分の復元事業の完成に連動して公開するアプリです。今回の鎌倉市による復元は、庭園部分と建物部分の基壇となっており、建物部分の復元は行われません。本アプリでは、建物部分の復元イメージをご覧頂く為、二つの機能を搭載しました。 　第１は、「お寺を歩く」機能です。中央下のコントロールボタンを、ゆっくり見たい方向にずらす事で、バーチャルなお寺を、歩き回ることができます。まずは、橋を渡り、本堂である二階堂を見てください。階段を上がって廊下を進むことも出来ます。外側の州浜を歩くことも出来ます。池に突き出した翼楼まで行くと、池と永福寺の美しい全景を見ることができます。これは、永福寺跡に行かなくても見ることができます。 　第２は、AR機能です。これは、永福寺跡まで足を運んで頂いた際に試して頂きたい機能です。敷地内に掲示されたAR機能に対応した看板の前に立ち、このアプリを起動し、「ARカメラ」ボタンをタップして下さい。スマホのカメラで、看板を写すと、コンピュータグラフィックの建物部分がスマホ画面に表示されるようになります。看板をカメラで写しながら、カメラの向きを変えると、建物部分もそれに合わせて変化します。実際に復元された庭園部分とコンピュータグラフィックで復元された建物部分が重なるようにスマホの画面に現れます。永福寺の建物のイメージを見ることが出来ます。 本アプリは、鎌倉市の協力をもらい、湘南工科大学コンピュータ応用学科　永福寺プロジェクトチームが作成しています。

Virtual Asukakyo is a virtual tour app for Asuka-mura in Nara prefecture, which was once flourished as an ancient capital city of Japan called Asukakyo. The app includes virtual reality contents of major historic remains of Asukakyo. By watching 360° panorama, you can learn and enjoy how Asukakyo used to be. Since the explanations in the contents are made under the supervision of experts in archaeology, this app is ideal for educational purposes. Currently, this app is localized for Japanese, English, Chinese*, and Korean*. *Some of contents are not supported in Chinese and Korean, and will instead be displayed in English. The app shows six historical remains consist of Ishibutai Kohun Tumulus, Mizuochi Iseki Ruin, Asukadera Temple, Asukakyu Palace, Kawaradera Temple, and Daikandaiji Temple. In virtual reality contents included in each historical remain, you can enjoy 360° panorama videos by turning the tablet towards any directions as you like, also experiment virtually rebuilt Asuka ruins by AR. Important Notes * This "Virtual Asukakyo" App is free to install, but the communication costs for downloading it will be your responsibility. It is recommended to download it in a Wi-Fi environment. * In future versions, there may be additional communication costs while viewing contents. * Using this app while walking is dangerous. Please stop and use it. * Please ensure there are no people around you before using it. * Depending on your smartphone's or tablet's model and other environments, it may not function properly.
