IMS Ticker vs Vibration Detector
Price, ratings, monetisation and update history for both apps, side by side β with what reviewers say about each.
IMS Ticker
Read full descriptionHide full description
IMS Ticker allows you to view live events as they are recorded by the IMS seismic system. Events include automatically processed events, events marked as blasts and events processed by human processors. You can view detailed information about individual events, as well as display event location on a 2D map of the area. Events of interest can be e-mailed to your contacts and you can receive notifications of significant events. Please note that this application is available to IMS Services customers only. Features: After registering to receive live seismic event information as recorded by the system, you can: * View detailed event information, including the number of seismic stations triggered, location, source parameters, the nearest 2D and/or 3D workplace and the association group it belongs to * Filter the displayed events * Switch between databases if more than one database is available * Receive significant event notifications * E-mail events of interest to your contacts * View system health information * Transfer data securely over SSL
Vibration Detector
Read full descriptionHide full description
The Vibration Detector utilizes the deviceβs accelerometer to measure and record vibrations or seismic activity. It can function as a vibration meter, seismograph, or seismometer. Using MEMS sensor technology, the app captures real-time vibration data across three axes (X, Y, Z) and applies sensor fusion to remove gravitational components for accurate measurements. Core Functionality β’ Timestamped vibration recording β’ Configurable logging and alert thresholds β’ Audible alerts on threshold exceedance β’ Battery-efficient dim mode β’ Lightweight implementation Measurement & Units Supports multiple units including G-force (g), in/s, and mm/s with instant conversion. Dual Threshold System Separate thresholds allow independent control of data logging and alert triggering. Data Logging Events are stored with timestamps and can be managed or cleared easily. Stealth Mode Fully disables screen output for long-term monitoring while maintaining data collection. UI Design Bottom-aligned controls ensure unobstructed data visualization. Workflow Mount device β Configure thresholds β Start monitoring β Analyze logged data
