Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Floomingo at 5.0 against TBO Holidays's 1.0. Floomingo also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 16 months) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). TBO Holidays's advantage is iOS requirement (11 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Floomingo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Floomingo has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
TBO Holidays ships an update every 16 months, Floomingo every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
