Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
WiTV2 Viewer holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 5 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of WiTV2 Viewer's written reviews are positive against 50% of SBB TV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
WiTV2 Viewer ships an update every 7 months, SBB TV every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
