Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Kelly Pool at 4.7 against Zero's 4.0. Kelly Pool also leads on ratings volume (41 vs 1). Zero's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kelly Pool sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Zero asks for nothing beyond the download.
Kelly Pool holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kelly Pool has 41 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Kelly Pool's written reviews are positive against 100% of Zero's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Kelly Pool ships an update every 4 weeks, Zero every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
