Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: LIVE 16XL at every 3 days against DJI Virtual Flight's every 2 months. LIVE 16XL also leads on review sentiment (50% vs 34%) and iOS requirement (7.1 vs 12.0). DJI Virtual Flight's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
