iOAK uses the camera to visualize the movement of the user and enables them to control switches. Key Functions: - Motion History This function colors the moved body parts with purple, blue, …, and red according to the frequency of the movement. - Air Switches Draw rectangles on the camera screen to serve as non-contact switches, called “Air Switches.” These can be activated by detecting movement within the designated areas. A red circle indicating the magnitude of the detected movement moves left or right along a slider on the screen. When it crosses the position of the sensitivity adjustment knob, a switch signal is output. For switch output integration, the user can select an external switch connected via Bluetooth (such as a "Relay" or the battery-shaped switch "MaBeee"), or the built-in “Home” or “Shortcuts” apps on the iPhone/iPad. - The “Relay” device works with equipment that accepts switch input. - The “MaBeee” device controls battery-operated equipment. - The “Home” app allows control of smart home devices, i.e., smart lights, plugs, and remotes, compatible with "Matter" or "HomeKit". - The “Shortcuts” app allows execution of a series of predefined actions (Shortcuts) on the iPhone or iPad. (*) (*) When linking with the “Shortcuts” app, add the “Open iOAK” action at the end of the registered “Shortcut” (the sequence of actions) so that it automatically returns to “iOAK” operation after executing the Shortcut. DropTap is a new communication support app developed by the Droplet Project. It is an AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) app designed for individuals who have difficulty communicating through spoken language, allowing them to interact with others using symbols and voice. DropTap features the following: - A comprehensive symbol library More than 2,000 "Drops" symbols are pre-installed and can be used immediately. "Drops" are communication symbols developed by the Droplet Project. - Convenient function to use symbols in other apps "Drops" are widely used in the field of special education as a standard tool for creating picture cards, schedules, posters, and other materials. The DropTap library allows users to easily copy and paste Drops symbols into other apps. The search function for Drops symbols is also enhanced. - Easy to operate Symbols are placed on a screen called a "board," and tapping on them will play the corresponding voice. The number of symbols that can be placed on the board can be freely changed depending on the user's disability. The app also has a feature that plays multiple symbols as a sentence. - Easy to add symbols In addition to Drops, users can add images from their camera or album and display text only. The app supports recording from a microphone or text-to-speech. - Easy sharing of communication boards Created boards can be saved as files and shared via Air Drop, email, and messaging. Sharing is easy, allowing for the use of boards created by teachers at school in the home, adding symbols to boards created by others, and more. - External switch compatibility The app is compatible with external switch inputs for individuals with physical disabilities.
