Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Pilot 9 at 4.7 against StreSSSmasH's 3.5. Pilot 9 also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 43 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pilot 9 sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and StreSSSmasH sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
