Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Frank App at 67% against GetMoreTats's 0%. GetMoreTats's advantage is rating (3.0 vs 2.5) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
GetMoreTats holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Frank App's written reviews are positive against 0% of GetMoreTats's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Frank App ships an update fortnightly, GetMoreTats weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
