Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: C at 5.0 against Hope Generation's 3.9. Hope Generation's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (18 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
C holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hope Generation has 18 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Hope Generation ships an update every 2 months, C every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
