Your Snapchat Memories, saved to your own phone. Unsnap reads the export Snapchat gives you and puts every photo and video into your Photos library, where they stay yours. Private. No Snapchat subscription, no uploads, no account. HOW IT WORKS 1. Request your Memories from Snapchat (Settings, then My Data). Unsnap walks you through it. 2. Snapchat emails you the export, usually within a day. 3. Open Unsnap, pick the ZIPs — all of them, still zipped — and start. No unzipping. Snapchat splits large exports across several ZIPs, and Unsnap expects that. THEY ARRIVE COMPLETE Captions. Stickers, drawings and the timestamp go back onto the photo or video — one finished file, the way you remember it. Dates. Every memory carries the day it was taken, so a photo from 2016 sits in 2016, not under today. Places. The location goes back inside the file, so your Photos map fills in. Order. Everything lands in an "Unsnap" album, in the order it happened. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Unsnap works entirely on your phone. It reads the ZIPs, rebuilds each memory, and writes it into Photos. No file leaves the device, no server sees your photos, and Unsnap never signs in to Snapchat or touches your account. There is no cloud mode to switch off. Private is the only way it works. BUILT FOR TEN-YEAR LIBRARIES A decade of memories runs to tens of gigabytes. Unsnap tells you how long it will take before it starts, pauses when you need the phone, and picks up where it left off if you close it. TRY IT FIRST Your most recent 200 memories are free. One purchase unlocks the rest, for about what a month of Snapchat+ costs — except you pay once, and you keep them. Unsnap is an independent app, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Snap Inc. or Snapchat. It reads only the data-portability export Snapchat gives you.
