Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: U at 2.3 against GoMemory's 1.0. U also leads on ratings volume (17 vs 1). GoMemory's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 29%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
U holds the better App Store score, 2.3 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: U has 17 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of U's written reviews are positive against 50% of GoMemory's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
U ships an update every 3 months, GoMemory every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
