Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: the NIGHT SHIFT at 100% against Impossible Charge's 59%. the NIGHT SHIFT also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 15.0). Impossible Charge's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (25 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Impossible Charge holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Impossible Charge has 25 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Impossible Charge's written reviews are positive against 100% of the NIGHT SHIFT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
