You start the wash with the best intentions… then life happens. Two days later, the washer smells sour. Again. Anxious Sock is the laundry reminder that won't let you forget. Meet Dottie, a slightly anxious sock who forgets things too, so she remembers for you. Start a cycle and she'll nudge you (lovingly) the moment it's done, and keep nudging until you actually move it. But she doesn't stop at the washer. Dottie walks you through the WHOLE laundry cycle: wash, dry, fold, and finally put away. Nothing stalls out halfway and lives on the chair until Friday. HOW IT WORKS 1. Start a cycle. Tap Normal Wash, Towels, Delicates, or Dryer. One tap. 2. Dottie watches the clock. She reminds you when it's done, even if the app is closed, and gets gently more insistent until you deal with it. 3. All the way to done. When the dryer's finished, she hands you to a fold timer, then a put-away timer. Not started. Finished. WHY IT'S DIFFERENT - She won't let you forget. One reminder is easy to ignore, so Dottie escalates and repeats until you tap "I moved it." No more sour re-washes. - The whole relay. Wash, dry, fold, put away, each step handing off to the next. - Run every machine at once. Washer and dryer both going? Start as many timers as you need. Every load gets its own card and its own nudges. - Right on your lock screen. A live countdown for every load on your lock screen and Dynamic Island, plus home screen widgets that keep Dottie in view. - Pick her anxiety level. Chill Dottie, Standard Dottie, or Full Meltdown. You decide how persistent she gets. - Snooze from the notification. Moved it? Tap "I moved it!" right on the alert. Need 15 more minutes? Snooze without opening the app. - Beat-the-clock focus timers. Folding and putting away become quick, cheerful sprints instead of chores that never happen. - Built for busy, forgetful brains. Gentle, funny, and never shaming. Designed around how ADHD and overloaded minds actually work. - Works with any machine. No smart appliance, no hardware, no setup. Just tell Dottie how long your cycles run. No accounts. No tracking. No ads. Just you, Dottie, and finally-finished laundry. Washed, dried, folded, put away. The whole thing. And you, weirdly on top of your life. Anxious Sock is a Tivich studio app.
