Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Onboarding at 100% against Terros's 41%. Onboarding also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 17.0). Terros's advantage is rating (3.8 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (99 vs 3). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Terros sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. Onboarding asks for nothing beyond the download.

Terros holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Terros has 99 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Onboarding's written reviews are positive against 41% of Terros's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
