Martin books. This is also perfect for fans who watch Game of Thrones ( GOT ) or House of the Dragon ( HOTD ). While watching the said shows in TV or Apple TV, viewers are also engaged with their iPhone or iPad to check out the places mentioned in the series. Users can explore the map through pinch gesture or magnify gesture, and drag gesture. The app also has a search feature that allows the user to simply type the name of the place or location, and the app will automatically locate it in the map. Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Westeros Map at none against Cartographer's 5. Westeros Map also leads on review sentiment (50% vs 34%). Cartographer's advantage is ratings volume (27 vs 5) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cartographer sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Westeros Map asks for nothing beyond the download.
Cartographer holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cartographer has 27 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of Cartographer's written reviews are positive against 50% of Westeros Map's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
