The clearest difference is rating: Дневник.ру at 3.8 against Петербургское образование.ЭД's 1.8. Дневник.ру also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (2.1K vs 114). Петербургское образование.ЭД's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Дневник.ру holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Дневник.ру has 2.1K ratings behind it against 114, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of Дневник.ру's written reviews are positive against 11% of Петербургское образование.ЭД's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Дневник.ру ships an update weekly, Петербургское образование.ЭД every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
